Customizing The AFD Demo

If want to show the demo to your clients but would prefer that they see your company name and logo, we have a solution for you. The AFD demo will now look for two bitmap files and if they're found it will use those files for the splash and about screens. It will also set the main form captions to the ones you specify.

To include your own logos, create two bitmap files named splash.bmp and about.bmp and place these in the main AFD directory.  These will be used in place of the default AFD logo when the program next runs.

To change the captions, add the following lines to afd.ini, which will be in the \windows subdirectory.  If the file doesn't exist, you can create it.  Edit the file using Notepad, not a word processor.  The lines are:

[Captions]
LongCaption=My Accounting System
ShortCaption=MAS

You can put anything you like after the equal signs.
